Flathead Water Pupmp Kit

Enjoy the benefits of the proven Chevy water pump design, along with improved cooling and less H.P. loss, all wrapped in a neat, compact package comprised of handcrafted aluminum and steel components. The Cornhusker Kit is complete down to the last fastener. It is basically a bolt-on kit, unless you choose the urethane bushed mounting system, which requires welding mounting tabs to a boxed frame. We have four different styles of water pump mounts, early or late style block, stock biscuit, or the optional urethane bushed system which allows the engine to be mounted several inches higher.

  • Stainless lower hub retainer, which also center the pulley

T5 OVERDRIVE KITS

The Cornhusker 5 Speed Conversion Package allows you to run a lower rear end ratio for increased acceleration, with an overdrive for longer engine life and increased fuel mileage. You furnish the transmission from an '85 to '92 S10 P.U. or Blazer, without the bellhousing, built in. We furnishing the following:
  • Cast Aluminum bellhousing
  • Throwout bearing assembly with all machine work completed
  • Custom machined pilot bushing
  • Throwout bearing fork
  • Return spring
  • Lower clutch shaft; early or late
  • Bolts and instructions
The kit is bolt-on to the early block. The 8BA will require the pickup or truck bellhousing. You use your original pressure plate, and a Chevy clutch disc. The conversion requires the use of an open drive rear. The kit also work with many other GM 3 and 4 speed transmissions. Clutch linkage and rear transmount fabrication may be required.

Cornhusker has combined with roadrunner engineering to produce the ultimate flathead supercharger system. A custom Weland 172 blower on a roadrunner intake, combined with Cornhuskers Chevy Water Pump Kit, custom pulleys, serpentine belt, and tuck tight alternator mt. The system is designed to produce 4-7 lbs. Of boost, which can be adjusted with pulley changes. It will use a standard bolt pattern 4 barrel or with a optional adapter 2 early ford carbs can be mounted for the nostalgia look. This pkg includes everything, blower, manifold, rear vent, water pump kit, custom pulleys belt, alternator, ss belt tensioner, gaskets, ss fasteners. It is also available with a combination alt - air bracket. Each package is custom built for you.
